• SUPPORTING SCHOOL DOCUMENT SUBMISSIONS CLOSE 8pm Friday 23rd August 2024

    This award is open for students in year 7 to 10 who can demonstrate innovation and strategic thinking skills, problem solving skills and/or design techniques. The winner will receive their own unique one day behind the scenes tour of Brisbane Airport during 2025. Experience the diverse and complex operation and meet the team that drive the 24/7 operation of two major terminals of Australia’s third largest airport.

  • Requirements

    This award is open to year 7 to 10 students enrolled in an Aerospace Gateway to Industry School. The student is not required to study any aerospace subject.

  • Judging

    The committee will review a Power Point presentation OR written proposal by the applicant for an innovative new business concept for Brisbane Airport. Schools are encouraged to submit a statement from a teacher or Head of Department (HOD) supporting the student’s application.
  • This award is open to students enrolled at an Aerospace Gateway to Industry School.
  • This award is open to year 7-10 students.

  • Schools are asked to submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher or HOD that supports the students submission for the application. While this is optional, it is encouraged.
