United Airlines 2024 ‘Girls in Aviation Day’ at Brisbane International Airport

Celebrate 2024 ‘Girls in Aviation Day’ with the United Airlines!  The team at Brisbane Airport are welcoming girls enrolled in Aerospace Gateway to Industry Schools for a special school holiday experience at the Brisbane International Terminal.  Tour a United Airlines’ Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, the International Terminal’s Checkin lobby and ramp operations and meet the inflight and technical operations crew.

When:    Friday 20th September from 8am to 12pm

Where:  Brisbane International Airport Terminal

Cost:      FREE

Who:      Year 10, 11 and 12 girls enrolled at an Aerospace Gateway to Industry School.  Limited places are available!

Conditions:

  • Students must be at least 16 years old, in year 10, 11 or 12 and enrolled in an Aerospace Gateway to Industry School to register.
  • Registrations are subject to operational requirements and security clearances.  Participants will be required to provide a Drivers License (Learners is acceptable), valid passport OR Proof of Age card as part of the registration for security checks to take place.
  • Participants will arrange their own transport, at their own expense, for the duration of this tour.  eg Airtrain, airport parking or bus
