Aeroskills Scholarship Application Form
STUDENT APPLICATIONS CLOSE 8am Monday 24th August 2026
This award recognises a year 12 student that can demonstrate a keen interest in becoming an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. The winner will receive a scholarship (value up to $5,000) which will cover the student contribution for 12 months formal training, including all the theory and off-the-job practical components of a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics, Mechanical or Structures/Mechanical) at the institution of their choice commencing during 2027 along with a medallion and a certificate. Each remaining finalist will receive a $100 gift card and a certificate.
Who can apply?
This award is open to year 12 students enrolled in an Aerospace Gateway to Industry School. The student is not required to study any aerospace subject. Previous winners in any award category are ineligible to reapply for the same category.
Judging
Please note that each completed application form, including any personal information provided, will be shared with judging committee representatives. The committee will review a student video presentation and written letter submitted by the applicant along with any supporting comments from a teacher.
