    This award recognises an Aerospace Gateway to Industry School that demonstrates a commitment to aerospace education and aviation safety through their active involvement in program initiatives, creative contextualised learning opportunities for students and continuous exposure to aerospace career possibilities. The winning school will receive $5000 to promote the importance of aviation safety and enhance aerospace learning resources, activities and initiatives and a trophy and a certificate.
  • Who can apply?

    This award is open to participating Aerospace Gateway to Industry Schools, where a current Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is in place. The school must be able to submit a detailed and itemised request to utilise the prize money to the Project Manager by 1 February 2027. Previous winners in any award category are ineligible to reapply for the same category.
  • Judging

    Please note that each completed application form, including any personal information provided, will be shared with judging committee representatives. The committee will review a written paragraph submitted by a school representative and supporting documentation, if supplied, along with the Principal’s statement of support.
  • This award is open to participating Aerospace Gateway to Industry Schools, where a current Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is in place. Please select the school name from the list below.
  • The principal will be emailed separately to confirm support for this application.
  • Applicants are to submit: A written application (no more than 800 words) that details how your school actively: o Promotes the importance of aviation safety. o Builds and maintains sustainable industry partnerships. o Encourages and supports interested students to participate industry experiences and develop industry-related skills.  How your school intends to utilise the prize money to promote the importance of aviation safety and enhance aerospace learning resources, activities and initiatives.
