The 3 day school holiday aviation program presents a fantastic opportunity to learn many of the hands-on skills required to pilot an aeroplane in a fun and relaxed environment, what it is like to train as a pilot.
Students will get an opportunity to the airfield in a “behind the scenes” tour, visit on-field aviation organisations, learn about the exciting emerging field of drones and visit the air traffic control tower! Then to cap this all off, they will get to actually fly an aeroplane in TWO experience lessons plus some time in the flight simulator.
The course provides an excellent introduction to a variety of career opportunities within the aviation industry as well as providing candidates the information on what it takes to become a pilot, the medical requirements, the structure of a typical training day, the knowledge and skills required to obtain your license and what are the various training pathways for either a career in aviation or as a recreational pilot.
