Aerospace Systems Award Support Request

This award recognises a student that is enrolled in the General Subject, Aerospace Systems and demonstrates a strong commitment to their studies both inside and outside the classroom; developing new skills and expanding their knowledge through involvement in extracurricular activities, volunteering, and/or industry engagement. A winner from both year 11 and 12 will each receive a $200 cash prize, a medallion and a certificate. The winning students will also be offered one 45 minute mentoring experience with an Airbus team member. Each remaining finalist will receive a $100 gift card and a certificate.

This award is open to year 11 and 12 students enrolled in an Aerospace Gateway to Industry School. Applicants must be enrolled in the General Subject, Aerospace Systems. Previous winners in any award category are ineligible to reapply for the same category.

Please note that each completed application form, including any personal information provided, will be shared with judging committee representatives. The committee will review a statement written by the applicant along with subject results (FA1 & FA2 for Year 11 and IA2 & IA3 for Year 12), extra-curricular involvement along with a short teacher reference. Applicants will not be judged on academic results alone, submissions will be judged on a combination of criteria submitted.
